Mr. Yu is the Co-founder and Chairman of YF Capital. Launched in 2010, YF Capital is co-founded by David Yu and Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group. Mr. Yu is also the Chairman of YF Life Insurance International Ltd.

Mr Yu founded Target Media in 2003 and served as Target Media’s Chairman and CEO; since the merger of Target Media and Focus Media in 2006, David served as the Co-Chairman and President of Focus Media Holdings (NASDAQ:FMCN).

Mr. Yu received his Executive M.B.A. degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2001, as well as his B.A and M.A. in Philosophy from Fudan University in 1991. Mr. Yu has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Fudan University since 2016.
